Meenakari Peacock Jhumka

A domed jhumka with a peacock worked across the front in meenakari enamel, deep teal and green against a matte gold-plated base, with a row of small pearl drops around the rim. The enamel has a slight gloss to it, so it catches light differently from the brushed metal behind it. This is a wedding and festival piece rather than an everyday one.
