Oxidised Silver Ghungroo Payal

A flat oxidised silver chain with small ghungroo bells strung along the lower edge, spaced close enough to sound properly when you walk but not so close that it turns into a constant jingle. The oxidised finish is deliberately uneven, darker in the recesses and brighter on the raised links, so it looks worn-in rather than brand new. It suits cotton kurtas and jeans equally, and it does not fight with a heavier necklace. The chain measures 25 cm with a 3 cm extender, so it sits above the ankle bone on most people without sliding down. It closes with a lobster clasp, which is easier to manage one-handed than a hook.
