These terms govern your use of the BP Jewels website and any order you place with us. Please read them before buying.
Acceptance of these terms
By browsing this site, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
Who can buy from us
- You must be at least 18 years old, or be using the site with the involvement of a parent or guardian
- You must be able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law
- You must provide a delivery address within India, as we do not ship internationally
Your account
You do not need an account to order, but if you create one you are responsible for keeping the password private and for anything done through it.
Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has access to your account. Please keep your address and phone number current, since deliveries fail most often because of out-of-date contact details.
Products, photography and colour
We photograph every piece ourselves and try hard to represent it honestly. Even so, jewellery is difficult to photograph, and you should expect some variation.
- Screens differ. Gold, rose gold and oxidised silver finishes in particular can look warmer or cooler depending on your display and its brightness.
- Lighting changes metal. A piece shot in daylight will look different under indoor light, and that is a property of the metal rather than a fault.
- Product images may be enlarged to show detail. Always check the stated dimensions and weight rather than judging scale from the photograph.
- Handmade and hand-finished pieces vary slightly from one to the next. Small differences in finish are normal and are not defects.
Our jewellery is fashion jewellery. It is plated brass or alloy unless a product page says otherwise. It is not solid gold or silver, and we do not describe it as precious metal.
Pricing and tax
- All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable tax
- Delivery is charged at a flat ₹40, and is free on orders of ₹699 and above
- We may change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order already placed and paid for
Despite our care, a price or product detail may occasionally be listed incorrectly. Where an error is obvious, we are not obliged to supply at the wrong price. We will contact you, offer the correct price, and refund you in full if you would rather not proceed.
Orders and our right to cancel
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch, not when you receive the automatic order acknowledgement.
We may decline or cancel an order, and will refund you in full, if:
- The item is out of stock or was listed in error
- We cannot deliver to your pincode
- The payment is flagged as fraudulent or cannot be verified
- We reasonably suspect the order is for resale without our agreement
Payment
We accept online payment through Razorpay only, covering cards, UPI, net banking and supported wallets. We do not offer cash on delivery.
Your card and UPI credentials are handled entirely by Razorpay and never reach our servers. Orders are dispatched only once payment has cleared.
Intellectual property
The product photography, written descriptions, logo and page designs on this site belong to BP Jewels. You may not copy, republish or use them commercially without written permission.
You are welcome to share our product photographs on social media if you credit us and link back.
Things you must not do
- Place fraudulent orders or use a payment method that is not yours
- Scrape, copy or republish the catalogue or our photography
- Attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site
- Resell our products as your own brand without a written wholesale agreement
- Post abusive, misleading or defamatory reviews
Limitation of liability
We stand behind what we sell. If a piece arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, we will replace it or refund you as set out in our Refund and Exchange Policy.
Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost time, missed occasions or delivery delays caused by the courier, weather or events outside our control.
Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other right that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.
We would much rather sort a problem out directly, so please contact us first and give us a fair chance to fix it.
